I may or may not have been watching way too many movies and series lately. But, in my defense.. okay never mind, I have no good excuse. I just like it. Make sure to check out my other posts for more recommendations.

Keep Breathing

Even though Keep Breathing is about a young successful woman trying to survive on her own, it was much more than that. It’s also about mental health, childhood trauma, and addiction. I watched it in one day and it was so emotionally good.

Another show I watched in one day. This was everything I didn’t know I needed. The iconic duo Neil Patrick Harris and Tisha Campbell. The storyline about a sudden breakup at a later age. And all the drama you can imagine. It is absolutely a must-watch. Unfortunately, Netflix hasn’t mentioned a second season yet and all we’re left with are cliffhangers.

The Gray Man

Action. Fighting. Guns. Ryan Gosling. Chris Evans. Ana de Armas. Rége-Jean Page. I feel like that’s all you need to know to watch this movie.

Shania Twain: Not Just a Girl

I added all of my favorite Shania Twain songs to my Spotify playlist after this. It was such a beautiful documentary showing how much she went through before and during her breakthrough. It’s amazing how little you know about famous people unless you actually research them.

I normally don’t watch Spanish shows, because I find it hard to read the subtitles and watch the show at the same time. Don’t judge me. But after seeing this trailer I just knew I had to try. Luckily after the first episode, I got used to it. The show is about the worst possible experience as a woman and Elena Rivera (who plays Alba) did an amazing job with all the emotions involved.

Virgin River (season 4)

Cheesy romance mixed with a little drama? Yes. Virgin River is back for a fourth season and has already been renewed for a fifth. Watching Virgin River always makes me want to move to a small town like that. But in reality, it probably isn’t as nice.
