I could keep going but, you get where I’m going with this. I too am struggling with some issues and I didn’t want to give into taking pills, so I decided to try something different. Learning how to cope
Reading books nowadays is very underrated. Books can do a lot for people, if they just put in the effort to pick one up and start reading. I’m not saying that reading a book will fix you, but it can certainly teach you some tools to cope. This is where The Happiness Trap comes in. Russ Harris, author of this international best-selling self-help book, is a world-renowned trainer of Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT).This books mainly focuses on teaching you the tools to deal with certain situations. It is full with exercises and tips to help you on a daily basis. If you haven’t tried mindfulness yet, this book is a great way to start.
