I saw this book on Sophie Jayne’s Instagram story and decided to read it, because why not. When I tell you I finished it in 3 days I’m not lying. Colleen Hoover has a way of pulling you in with her writing and you’ll be wondering where the time went. I’ve read two books by Colleen Hoover so far and yesterday I got started on the third. Her books are just so good I want to read them all.
I won’t spoil too much of the book, because I promise it’ll get you hooked from the first page. The book is about Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer who accepts a job offer of a lifetime. Jeremy Crawford, the husband of bestselling author Verity Crawford, has hired Lowen to complete the remaining books in a successful series his wife is unable to finish due to her injury.
He offers Lowen to stay at their family home so Lowen can work in his wife’s office and go through all of the notes and outlines she needs to get started. However, things get a weird twist when Lowen finds an autobiography written by Verity which reveals her darkest secrets.
